Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg discloses this year’s plan to make artificially intelligent butler
Facebook originator Mark Zuckerberg strategize to help run his home this year by building an artificially intelligent assistant.
The social network tycoon used a Facebook post to disclose his brave desire, which he compared to other personal challenges he has set himself such as learning Mandarin.
As he said: “My own challenge for 2016 is to build a simple AI to help me with my work and run my home. You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man.”
“I’m will start by discovering what expertise is already out there. Then I’ll start coaching it to comprehend my voice to control everything in our home — lights, music, temperature, and so on.
“I’ll demonstrate it to let friends in by viewing at their faces when they ring the doorbell.”
He further said that he hoped to also coach it to make him mindful that he required to check on his daughter Maxima, who was born to Mr Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan last year.
He said, at work, the robot would help him envision data to help him lead Facebook and his charity the Chan Zuckerberg Institute more commendably.
“This should be a fun intellectual challenge to code this for myself,” he added.
“I’m looking forward to sharing what I learn over the course of the year.”
