Lunch to be delivered on mopeds in central London as a cab-hailing app has linked up with a catering chain.
The only transport app in London, Gett, to work exclusively with black cabs, has combined with Chop’d to deliver salads from its outlets as part of its growth away from permitting users to just order taxis.
“Knowledge boys”, cabbies learning routes on mopeds round the capital, will deliver to anyplace from Kensington to Shoreditch in just 10 minutes from Monday to Thursday, between 11am and 8pm.
Charges are up to £1.50 more than purchasing a salad in the shop, with only one choice accessible per day. They take in avocado and chicken on Mondays and jerk chicken on Tuesdays, both are delivered for £6.50.
The app is also offering a bottle of champagne being delivered for £50.
