Millions of users affected as Facebook crashes down
As the site crashed last evening, many users of Facebook were affected.
In the span of a week after 8pm according to UK time, the social media network grieved its second outage.
Of the one billion users of Facebook, all received error messages when they were trying to access the site last evening.
It just came after a crash on September 24, which left users unable to use Facebook for their feeds and pages.
Facebook greeted the users attempting to visit the site by the message: “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.”
The outage is expected to cost the site massive sums for vanished advertising revenue.
Update: The site performed to be working again later at 9 pm, after around one hour of being down.
